Global Express's core business primarily consists of local same-day transportation within both B2B and B2C.

We are now looking for an Operations Manager with a flair for Business Development, for our operations in Stockholm. This means you will lead and manage, both strategically and operationally, the business and sales in Stockholm based on the company's overall strategy and core values.

As the Operations Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the business meets set goals and complies with established operational processes and cost budgets. You make decisions to develop the business and constantly seek improvements to strengthen Global Express's market position and stimulate efficiency and productivity.

As the Operations Manager in Stockholm, you also need to be attentive to potential new customer needs and business opportunities. You will be responsible for representing your geographical area in meetings with key customers. Overall, you are also responsible for providing both existing and new customers the opportunity to grow and thrive using Global Express as their supplier.

About you

We are looking for a hard-working professional with experience supporting demanding industrial customers. Ideally, you come from an operations-intensive sector such as IT or logistics and have had contact with automation in transportation or production environments. You must have 4+ years of experience driving business growth. Your tasks will also include coordinating with the team to perform various transports in and around Stockholm. You will assist the team with loading and unloading heavy equipment as needed.

Requirements for applicants

You have previous relevant experience in managerial positions.

Have a Swedish driver's license.

Willingness to travel.

Good knowledge of MS Office.
